Bastide des Chênes is a spacious, extremely comfortable and well equipped house in extensive grounds which include a beautiful pool and spectacular views over the valley. The bedrooms and bathrooms are all completed to a high specification. The photos advertising the house do not do it justice, it really has to be seen to appreciate the quality. On arrival we received a very warm welcome from Francois, who was also always available via phone to deal with any questions. When we were there in late June/early July we were enthralled by the extensive variety of butterflies on the lavender and birdsong from the surrounding woodland. The house is rurally situated so there is no shop within short walking distance but the small shop at Murs is only a short drive from the house. This was one of the best of many places in Provence that we have stayed at over the years.

باستيد دي شين هو منزل فسيح ومريح للغاية ومجهز تجهيزاً جيداً في أراضي واسعة تشمل حوض سباحة جميل وإطلالات خلابة على الوادي. تم الانتهاء من جميع غرف النوم والحمامات بمواصفات عالية. الصور التي تروّج للمنزل لا تنصفه، فلا بد من رؤيته لتقدير جودته. عند وصولنا تلقينا ترحيباً حاراً للغاية من فرانسوا الذي كان متاحاً دائماً عبر الهاتف للتعامل مع أي أسئلة. عندما كنا هناك في أواخر يونيو وأوائل يوليو انبهرنا بالتنوع الكبير للفراشات على الخزامى وأصوات العصافير من الغابات المحيطة. يقع المنزل في موقع ريفي لذا لا يوجد متجر على مسافة قصيرة سيراً على الأقدام ولكن المتجر الصغير في مورس لا يبعد سوى مسافة قصيرة بالسيارة من المنزل. كان هذا أحد أفضل الأماكن التي أقمنا بها في بروفانس على مر السنين.

Everything we hoped for and more كل ما كنا نأمله وأكثر

This is an absolute gem of a villa. We were two families with 3 kids between us and our stay was perfection. The setting is gorgeous, so tranquil and beautifully manicured. The grounds are larger than the photos appear. The house has everything you need, beds are great, pool was well maintained and a lovely temperature. Plenty of sun loungers. We loved using the grill/bbq and eating al fresco nearly each day. It's an easy walk into town (10-15 mins) and the village is so quaint. Highly recommend the market on Tuesdays. We loved the boulangerie and the sweet owner who helped us with our french! The local wine farms are also beautiful and incredibly affordable. We highly highly recommend this property. Service from Provence holidays was excellent too.

هذه فيلا رائعة للغاية. لقد كنا عائلتين بيننا 3 أطفال وكانت إقامتنا مثالية. المكان رائع وهادئ جداً ومعتنى به بشكل جميل. الأرض أكبر مما تظهره الصور. يحتوي المنزل على كل ما تحتاجه، والأسرّة رائعة، وحوض السباحة بحالة جيدة ودرجة حرارة جميلة. الكثير من كراسي التشمس. أحببنا استخدام الشواية/الشواء وتناول الطعام في الهواء الطلق كل يوم تقريباً. يسهل الوصول إلى المدينة (10-15 دقيقة) سيراً على الأقدام والقرية جذابة للغاية. نوصي بشدة بالسوق أيام الثلاثاء. لقد أحببنا المخبز والمالك اللطيف الذي ساعدنا في تعلم اللغة الفرنسية! مزارع النبيذ المحلية جميلة أيضاً وبأسعار معقولة للغاية. نحن نوصي بشدة بهذه المنشأة. كانت الخدمة من بروفانس للعطلات ممتازة أيضاً.

Privacy, schoon, zeer vriendelijke gastvrouw. OK voor 6 personen maar niet tav de bedden. Dan 4 personen.

Comfortable, well-equipped villa

We found this perfect for our family. Very comfortable, well-equipped villa, in a perfect location, surrounded by olive fields and 10 minute walk to Mausanne. The owners were very friendly and helpful. Only drawback was that the parasols were broken, and there was not very much shade by the pool.

Heaven on Earth

We just came back from an amazing family vacation in Provence. The villa Le Mas des Cypres was soooo beautiful. When we first drove up to the villa though the long cypress tree line driveway, it was overwhelmingly beautiful. Pool and the outdoor seating were amazing!! Everything about this villa was tastefully done. Location was excellent to visit all of small villages and cities. We have stay at many different villas in the past, but this was the best and made our family time a memorable one. Truly a haven on earth.. We hope to return next year.

Great House, amazing views منزل رائع، مناظر خلابة

This house has the real wow factor, a gorgeous setting with fantastic views and well proportioned rooms decorated tastefully. I’d certainly book the house again.

Over and above expectations

This is a magnificent holiday home in beautiful Provence. The house is spacious, cool, clean and very homely with wonderful gardens and pool. At 35c most days the pool was welcoming and refreshing. Our family had an amazing 2 weeks here in June/July. Very interesting area, lots to see and visit. St Remy de Provence which is only 20 mins walk from Chez Vincent, has lots of nice restaurants and shops. Carol was always helpful and available. This was a wow holiday for our family.

Immaculate house in beautiful gardens

The house is spotlessly clean and the facilities and appliances were extremely high quality - the outdoor kitchen was superb we spent most of our time here. Barbara was amazing -on hand to answer queries and help with extras the whole process with Provence holidays was really smooth. Fresh bakery goods were delivered daily and the location is perfect for trips to nearby villages. The gardens are beautiful the photos don’t do it justice. Only minor point was that the decor in the house was a little stark and the art in the house was not to my personal taste(being picky here!) but we all really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back

Views exceptional and overall very relaxing and tranquil

The house was extremely well equipped and the grounds are simply stunning. The location is a short 10 minute walk to Le Thor and the house is very secluded and peaceful. The pool was fantastic, views exceptional and overall very relaxing and tranquil.

Perfection, everything was wonderful

Perfection. Everything was wonderful. Communication, everything. Make sure to follow the old rocky road behind the property, left, for beautiful hilltop views of Gorde!

Centrally located private home with great gardens/pool

This was an ideal place for 3 friends. Central location to many of the popular villages in the area. Home was clean, beds very comfortable and the garden/pool area very private. Just the right amount of space to relax comfortably

A holiday to remember

I really couldn’t find a single fault with this villa. Perfect does not do justice to it. A villa for a family get together with everything you could think of . The pool was amazing and the peaceful location of the villa with the surrounding private ground was a pleasure to explore.5 star

Magical Provence

Maison Gordes, once we found it, was all we hoped for and more. So many options for where to sit outdoors for breakfast/lunch/dinner or just to relax and the pool was lovely with fabulous views over the Luberon from the seating area above. Not too far from magical villages and markets either but the road in and out was VERY narrow! NB On arrival you need to turn in at Trois Cypres ... don't go past it!

A super house

An elegant house with contemporary interior, tastefully furnished and equipped, very spacious gardens all around and a large pool. Located in a quiet spot, but just a 10 minute walk into town (for the obligatory boulangerie!) and perfectly situated for visiting many places in Provence. Nice welcome with assistance on hand if needed (but respectful of one’s privacy). A great place and could have stayed longer!

Fabulous

We had an absolutely fabulous stay at the house. It was really authentic, well equipped and close to the charming village of Egalieres. Concierge services were faultless and our family is already discussing a return visit next summer. Maybe for two weeks!

A beautiful house with magical views. My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Emma’s house. We didn’t want or need for anything. Will definitely be back.

Une vraie maison d'hôtes ! بيت ضيافة حقيقي!

Nous avons passé un superbe week-end en famille à 22 à la Bastide de Vidauban. Le lieu est un écrin paisible (encore plus quand les helico de la base d’à côté ont fini leurs entraînements ;) avec une très belle vue dégagée. Les logements sont très qualitatifs avec des vrais et grands espaces confortables pour chacun. On se sent tout de suite comme à la maison. Marion est aux petits soins, une présence discrète mais attentionnée et efficace, et nous recommande de supers prestas pour agrémenter notre séjour ! Je recommande !

قضينا عطلة نهاية أسبوع رائعة مع عائلتنا المكونة من 22 فرداً في باستيد دي فيدوبان. يتميز المكان بأجواء هادئة (حتى أكثر من ذلك عندما تنتهي طائرات الهليكوبتر من القاعدة المجاورة من تدريباتها؛) مع إطلالة جميلة دون عائق. الإقامة عالية الجودة، مع مساحات كبيرة ومريحة للجميع. تشعر على الفور بأنك في بيتك. ماريون متيقظة للغاية، وحضورها متكتم ولكن يقظ وفعّال، وقد أوصت ببعض الخدمات الرائعة لجعل إقامتنا أكثر متعة! أوصي بها بالتأكيد!

Lovely stay in Provence

It was the first time we were renting in Provence and it was a lovely experience. The property was well appointed, and clean, but most of all the owners were so friendly and helpful with suggestions, directions, etc.... The garden was well taken care of as was the pool and both were so enjoyable in the hot weather. To wake up in the morning looking at the Luberon mountains in the background was a real treat. We were welcomed with organic olive oil from the family's olive grove and fresh homemade fruit confitures. Caroline's mother was so nice and brought us a homemade lemon cake one day and more of her wonderful jams. Caroline brought us some freshly picked white peaches from their orchard which were absolutely delicious. The location in the village of Robion was very convenient and easy to get to, had all the stores we needed (pharmacy, stationery/newspapers store, butcher/caterer, boulangerie, vegetable and fruit market and a local mini market). And the town of Coustellet, a short drive away, offers a huge supermarket which has everything imaginable. We enjoyed the Sunday morning farmer's market there. It is well worth visiting. Also Robion is not far from other must see villages like Menerbes, Bonnieux, Lacoste, Gordes, Isle-sur-la-Sorgue. We recommend this property for a couple of a small family.
