fantastic being able to walk in to town

Lovely property. Great location. We really appreciated being able to walk to restaurants. Kitchen very well stocked. We were a bit disappointed that only six loungers were provided when the house is being rented for eight people. The loungers were also not very comfortable. Karen, the manager, was very welcoming and provided very helpful information.

Belle villa fonctionnelle et de plus bien adaptée aux enfants. Belle réactivité des propriétaires en cas de demande spécifique. Seul inconvénient: premiers commerces un peu loin, d'où nécessité de tout bien programmer....

Smuk, funktionel villa, der også er børnevenlig. Ejerne er meget lydhøre over for specifikke anmodninger. Eneste ulempe: de første butikker ligger lidt langt væk, så alt skal være godt planlagt....

Perfect Holiday

If you want to stay in a true Provencal house then this is the place. The villa has all the comforts you require with good air conditioning in the bedrooms. Kitchen very well equipped. The garden is large and fabulous for small children, swings etc and the pool is fenced and gated. The eating areas outside are perfect. The owner Vincent is very helpful and easily contactable. Would definitely recommend for the perfect holiday.

The Villa surpassed our expectations and was more beautiful and spectacular than in the advertised photographs. It is sprawling , a beautiful stone villa with lovely appropriate furnishings and amenities with a particularly large and useful kitchen. The pool provided a lot of fun for all the adults and the terrace with beautiful sunset views on the mountains was where we ate all our meals. The lighting around the villa was so pretty as well. There is a table tennis with bats and we spent some hot active hours playing table tennis. The surrounding shrubs and countryside add to the beauty, difference and peace.

Villaen overgik vores forventninger og var smukkere og mere spektakulær end på de annoncerede fotografier. Det er vidtstrakt, en smuk stenvilla med dejlige passende møbler og faciliteter med et særligt stort og nyttigt køkken. Poolen gav en masse sjov for alle de voksne, og terrassen med smuk udsigt over solnedgangen på bjergene var, hvor vi spiste alle vores måltider. Belysningen omkring villaen var også så smuk. Der er et bordtennisbord med bat, og vi tilbragte nogle varme, aktive timer med at spille bordtennis. De omkringliggende buske og landskabet tilføjer skønhed, forskel og fred. Vi elskede det her.

Fantastic family holiday soon to be repeated!

Beautiful house furnished with a good sense of interior design, a very neat and spacious garden, nice outside sitting area with a big table for having all the meals outside. Very refreshing pool that's big enough to hang out and relax (not so much for swimming). Boccia field with flood lights on the premises for competitions at all times. The kitchen ist big enough but could have been better equipped for cooking larger meals for our group of six. Unfortunately the dishwasher did no work very well, which made it harder to wash the dishes properly. There was a fully functional gas grill for having barbecues on the patio, which was nice. The bedrooms and bathrooms were tidy and clean. All in all, we had a really relaxing and nice holiday at Villa Joucas and could definitely imagine coming back one day.

A perfect, perfect holiday

We were so sad to leave at the end of our stay. The location was idyllic, the farmhouse was perfect, the villages were beautiful. A holiday we will never forget.

This is a really beautiful house with a gorgeous view and great outdoor area and pool.

The view and peace and quiet are second to none. I highly recommend.

A wonderful trip En vidunderlig rejse

The house was absolutely perfect. It's a gorgeous, well-maintained place and is big enough for four families (at least). Mathilde, the daily house cleaner, and Johann, the grounds keeper/manager, were very professional, easy to talk to, and provided helpful recommendations about the Uzes market, various restaurants, and other nearby attractions. One thing to note: The WiFi connection is NOT fast. So if you are working while on vacation, be aware that the home is gorgeous and relaxing - but it's not conducive to downloading and uploading large files. The house was very, very clean and comfortable. The bedrooms and kitchen are air-conditioned, but other common spaces are not. We spent most of our time outside anyway, but it was nice to have a cool bedroom for sleeping at night. The kitchen is well-stocked with plenty of space for food, a huge commercial-grade oven, and serving pieces for at least 15 people (which was the number of people in our group.) The pool area was perfect as well, and we spent lots of time under the large trees near the front door of the property. A cool breeze and comfortable seating provided a beautiful backdrop for our wine and cheese before dinner each night. Johann was on time for our check-in, and very thorough with our check-out process. Provence Holiday checked in on us via phone and email during the week but we were so busy having fun that I didn't get a chance to call them back!

Huset var helt perfekt. Det er et smukt, velholdt sted, og det er stort nok til fire familier (mindst). Mathilde, den daglige rengøringsdame, og Johann, viceværten, var meget professionelle, nemme at tale med og kom med nyttige anbefalinger om markedet i Uzes, forskellige restauranter og andre attraktioner i nærheden. En ting at bemærke: WiFi-forbindelsen er IKKE hurtig. Så hvis du arbejder, mens du er på ferie, skal du være opmærksom på, at hjemmet er smukt og afslappende - men det er ikke befordrende for at downloade og uploade store filer. Huset var meget, meget rent og komfortabelt. Der er aircondition i soveværelserne og køkkenet, men ikke i de andre fællesrum. Vi tilbragte alligevel det meste af vores tid udenfor, men det var rart at have et køligt soveværelse, hvor vi kunne sove om natten. Køkkenet er velassorteret med masser af plads til mad, en stor ovn af kommerciel kvalitet og serveringsudstyr til mindst 15 personer (hvilket var antallet af personer i vores gruppe). Poolområdet var også perfekt, og vi tilbragte masser af tid under de store træer nær ejendommens hoveddør. En kølig brise og behagelige siddepladser udgjorde en smuk baggrund for vores vin og ost før middagen hver aften. Johann kom til tiden med vores check-in og var meget grundig med vores check-out. Provence Holiday tjekkede op på os via telefon og e-mail i løbet af ugen, men vi havde så travlt med at have det sjovt, at jeg ikke fik mulighed for at ringe tilbage til dem!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié notre séjour a la Bergerie de Beaumes. Nathalie et Bruno sont des hôtes extraordinaires, et nous nous sommes sentis bien. La région est belle avec beaucoup de divertissements intéressants. Nous espérons revenir bientôt. Merci encore pour tout!

Vi nød virkelig vores ophold på Bergerie de Beaumes. Nathalie og Bruno er vidunderlige værter, og vi følte os meget velkomne. Området er smukt med masser af interessant underholdning. Vi håber at vende tilbage snart. Tak igen for alt!

Wonderful

The villa was wonderful. It provided a perfect holiday for 3 generations of family. The Provence holidays staff was wonderful and the staff at the villa were great xceptional

Our holiday was everything we had hoped it would be and more. The house was perfect for us all and we are already planning our return

A wonderful week in Provence!

This is a lovely, stylish, well-equipped villa, all on one level (there is a small mezzanine off the master bedroom for a baby room) all with good air-con and a great kitchen/living area. The mattresses are very comfortable and the bathrooms are modern. The pool is set in a lovely shady spot surrounded by trees There are various areas to sit and enjoy coffee, lunch, aperitifs depending on the shade and heat of the day. The BBQ could do with upgrading (probably a bit bigger if you are more than 3 people) but otherwise everything you could need was provided, including salt, pepper, oil, vinegar, shower gel, dishwasher tabs and all those things it’s a pain to buy if only staying for a week. Yann, thé garden/pool chap was lovely and Sandrine was also very helpful and kind. We had a wonderful time here, exploring the area on our bikes and relaxing by the pool. Gordes is too far to walk in the heat but we had no trouble driving up and parking to pop into the little local shop or one of the many cafes. We will definitely return!!

We had the most glorious week. We have stayed in the area a few times, however this was to us the best location, Villa and kitchen! That we have ever rented. Benoît who looks after the house could not have been more helpful with anything we needed to finding a local taxi ( at not ridiculous cost) to take someone to the airport. We will definitely return Our family are in their late twenties

Stunning property in a beautiful location

A recently renovated & beautifully furnished property overlooking The Luberon. Stunning views & well thought through outdoor seating areas. Large bedrooms & bathrooms & a stunning living space. Kitchen well equipped. Location extremely peaceful & no light pollution at night, saw the most incredible stars night after night. Sabine & Evert (property managers) were incredibly helpful & knew the property, area & region extremely well, lots of great tips! Our family were able to relax & enjoy this stunning house, very much hope to return. Hugely impressed, thank you all!

Très bel endroit, paisible, magnifique piscine et beau jardin, grand domaine bien arborisé avec champs de lavande. Très bon accueil par le couple d'intendants, merci à eux. Les chambres sont très spacieuses, très belles et très agréables. Nous y avons passé un séjour idyllique en famille et espérons y revenir.

Meget smuk, fredelig beliggenhed, storslået swimmingpool og smuk have, stor ejendom beplantet med træer og lavendelmarker. Meget varm velkomst fra parret, der passer ejendommen, mange tak til dem. Værelserne er meget rummelige, meget smukke og meget behagelige. Vi havde et idyllisk ophold med vores familie og håber at vende tilbage.

Wunderschön, gemütlich, Erholung pur Smukt, hyggeligt, ren afslapning

Wunderschöner Ort mit viel Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Das Besitzerpaar ist äusserst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Alles perfekt, schöner, erfrischender, gemütlicher Pool, wunderschöne Zimmer, grosse Küche. Wohlfühloase pur. Einziger Kritikpunkt und Anregung. Matratzen könnten erneuert werden. Hängen etwas durch.

Smukt sted med masser af udflugtsmuligheder. Ejerne er yderst venlige og hjælpsomme. Alt er perfekt, smuk, forfriskende, hyggelig pool, vidunderlige værelser, stort køkken. Ren oase af velvære. Eneste kritik og forslag. Madrasserne kunne godt fornyes. De hænger lidt.

We have arrived home after a fantastic week in Mas Lorgues Vi er kommet hjem efter en fantastisk uge i Mas Lorgues.

You have a wonderful house - we absolutely loved it! The pool area was a massive hit and we spent most of our time there - the kids had a great time. The owner of Lou Cigalon was so friendly - we ended up eating there 3 times

I har et vidunderligt hus - vi var helt vilde med det! Poolområdet var et kæmpe hit, og vi tilbragte det meste af vores tid der - børnene havde det sjovt. Ejeren af Lou Cigalon var så venlig - vi endte med at spise der 3 gange.

Holiday with Children

This is an absolutely exquisite home, tastefully decorated and comfortable for a group. It is completely private, and quite a piece of property with fruit trees, gorgeous old plane trees and mature landscaping. The kids loved running around the expansive fields! The pool is something out of architectural digest—enormous. We enjoyed cooking outside on the plancha so much so my husband looked up the company so we can buy one to be sent to us in the US. The windows and views of the property are dramatic. The restoration was thoughtful and kept many charming elements, including what looks like maybe an old trough for horses or cattle that is now used as a book shelf. The home is very large and includes 3 bedrooms on one far side of the home over 3 floors. There is a studio as the listing mentions closer to the kitchen side of the home on the 3rd floor that is accessed by a circular metal staircase. We didn’t feel comfortable with our children using this staircase or with the railing in the studio for safety reasons, so consider that when booking. It’s closed off with a door so it wasn’t much of an issue. There are 3 other rooms to choose from for the smaller kids. The description of the home is pretty accurate, but you should also know that it appears a section of the home where possibly a master bedroom/bathroom are located is locked off for guests. As such all of the bedrooms are of similar size with queen beds, but each has their own bathroom which is nice for groups. Overall this is a magical home. Very happy we had a chance to experience Provence staying here. It provided a good base for exploration of many sights but was also very close to amenities making it easy. We walked to dinner one night and could quickly pick up most anything we needed in the village. It is also hard to leave the property because it’s just so beautiful—why go anywhere? Everyone was very helpful and always accessible. We appreciated their help.
