What can I say? Quite simply we loved it! But of course there is more than that.
After days of sifting through various websites I found Chez Christelle.
This beautiful and ever so slightly crumbling house stands proud in 16 hectares of land, surrounded by woods, vines, olive groves, cypress trees, roses scented by the heavens themselves. A chapel, an old potager, a boule court, splendid views, large airy rooms, a circular staircase slightly tired with all the people that have stepped their way up and down over the centuries and speak gently of dear memories and happy children running and chasing, screeching as they whizz up and down in delight.
Delightful is what this house is, it is the perfect package.
When I found Le Vieux Mas, I called Simon Richards of Provence Holidays, who from the very beginning has been so helpful and has made sure that our trip was perfect.

¿Qué puedo decir? Sencillamente que nos encantó. Pero, por supuesto, hay más que eso.
Después de varios días buscando en varias páginas web, encontré Chez Christelle.
Esta hermosa casa en ruinas se alza orgullosa en 16 hectáreas de terreno, rodeada de bosques, viñas, olivares, cipreses y rosas perfumadas por el mismo cielo. Una capilla, un antiguo huerto, una pista de petanca, vistas espléndidas, habitaciones amplias y ventiladas, una escalera circular algo cansada por toda la gente que la ha subido y bajado a lo largo de los siglos y que habla suavemente de recuerdos entrañables y de niños felices que corren y se persiguen, chillando mientras suben y bajan zumbando de alegría.
Deliciosa es esta casa, es el paquete perfecto.
Cuando encontré Le Vieux Mas, llamé a Simon Richards de Provence Holidays, que desde el principio ha sido tan servicial y se ha asegurado de que nuestro viaje fuera perfecto.
