A dream house and a dream holiday

We have not wanted this holiday to end. We will be recommending this beautiful home in beautiful Provence to all our family & friends. We will be back for more memories to be made. Everything was superb & perfection. Thank you x

Overall experience

The Villa was beautiful and within close proximity of old Vence. We enjoyed our stay. Everything was perfectly maintained and Muriel was very attentive to our questions. Very family oriented with rooms en suite bathrooms and a really nice pool. The detached villa was perfect for our college aged daughter and her friend. Gave them their own privacy and was very safe within the compound. We would love to return one day in the future

Delightful stay

The mas was perfect with outstanding views of the Dentelles from the pool and outdoor patio and conveniently located. The mas is renovated barn built into the rocks and was beautifully renovated. The hosts greeted us on arrival and made the process seamless and made lovely recommendations. The kitchen was well appointed with appliances and and I would recommend a stay in the good weather months to enjoy the beautiful outdoor areas. .

We loved sainte Maxime and the Villa and really enjoyed our stay! It was all lovely!

This golden paradise was perfect for our golden celebration. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the many different gardens. My favourite was the zen garden sharing special moments with the fish. Thank you for letting us experience your wonderful house and gardens.

We had a fabulous week!

We really made the most of the pool and outdoor kitchen and there was nothing we needed which wasn’t there. It was hot - so mostly we went out early and got back to get in the pool/shade. It’s a great location for exploring the local area and we loved Monaco, Nice, Lorgues and St Maxime. Thank you for hosting us and thanks to G for her help too.

For those seeking peace and isolation it is the perfect retreat

We absolutely fell in love with this place and location! Set in the heart of the Luberon, at 500 meters in the hills, for those seeking peace and isolation it is the perfect retreat. It has landscaped gardens with a lovely swimming pool. The house has been carefully designed with a contemporary feel that works well with the surroundings and with lavish interior design. Excellent internet and home furnishings to satisfy every need and make you feel at home. The owner and housekeeper are always available to help sort out practicalities at any time. Stock up at a big super market before arrival as local shopping is limited. 2 huge fridges(including ice maker) and freezer available to store everything. We have been looking for a place like this for many years and will definitely be back next year

Très beau mas Linda casa de campo

Très beau Mas, très très bien équipé… Tout est merveilleusement organisé pour un séjour idyllique. Nous avons adoré le jardin avec ses fleurs à profusion et les options de la maison en fonction du temps : il a plu un peu et cela n’a pas été gênant car les 2 deux terrasses sont couvertes avec une plancha efficace et un barbecue pour varier les plaisirs. Magnifique maison, très grande et très spacieuse où nous avons pu apprécier la douceur de vie provençale. Nous reviendrons sans aucun doute pour un séjour plus long.

Um Mas muito bonito, muito bem equipado... Tudo está maravilhosamente organizado para uma estadia idílica. Adorámos o jardim com a sua profusão de flores e as opções disponíveis na casa em função do tempo: choveu um pouco mas isso não foi um problema porque os 2 terraços estão cobertos com uma plancha eficaz e um barbecue para variar os prazeres. Magnífica casa, muito grande e muito espaçosa, onde pudemos apreciar o modo de vida provençal. Voltaremos de certeza para uma estadia mais longa.

Top flight high standard villa in a great location

Mas de Fontblanche was excellent. The house and pool are at the highest standard, including quality of a/c, plumbing, kitchen, tv, furniture. The landlord is very hands-on and considerate in the best way in terms of being helpful and maintaining cleanliness, function, local advice. The location is terrific for visiting towns around Gordes.

Beautiful home in lovely location close to wonderful French town

We couldn’t have asked for a better villa and location for our holiday. We travelled with our two young children for a week, the house has all amenities and it beautifully presented. The owners were very welcoming and helpful. The house is a 5 minute walk from a charming town with lots of restaurants, bakery, butchers etc. we visited the local market on Thursday which was full of lovely french produce.

Amazing!

This is an amazing villa which delivered on every level and more! Very stylish interiors, comfortable bedrooms and living spaces indoors and outdoors, a superb kitchen with every imaginable cooking utensil, a lovely good-sized pool and and beautifully-planted outdoors area all made our stay utterly enjoyable. Maintenance is of a very high standard and our house-manager Alexandra was highly professional and responsive and made arrival and departure so easy and pleasant. The area is wonderful too, with so much to see and do within an hour’s drive. Two things to note: one bedroom does not have an en-suite WC, it is located away from the bedroom; the small study contains a small single bed for an extra occupant.

Beautiful home and beautiful view of the ocean and nature. Also very easy to get to the beach and real Nespresso coffee was a plus. Thank you for sharing a local wine and investing in the entrepreneurship of the area! Jonathan was very responsive to all our inquiries and there at the beginning and the end. Can’t wait to come back in the near future. Thank you for sharing this home with our family!

Lovely property in superb setting

Nestled amongst 3000 olive trees, this villa, along with its garden and swimming pool, is a dream come true. The lovely hosts supplied us with wonderful olive oil and fruit from their orchard. The property is less than 1 km from the veloroute and Robion, with its petits commerces and non-commercialized old village. The only slight improvement overall would be to heat the pool a bit more generously, as the cool nights take all warmth from the water.

A country Haven in Provence Um refúgio campestre na Provença

The villa is beautiful especially the outdoor space it is a comfortable 30 minutes walking distance from Menerbes and 10-20 minutes from Gordes Lourmarin etc . Excellent Location, spotlessly clean, very spacious, had all amenities required fabulous pool area . Great bedrooms and bathrooms no air conditioning but the house is constructed to be cool. Great courtyard and a number of rooms open out to it. I have to give a special mention to Emilie who was our house manager, we had bad weather initially and she always answered the phone no matter what the query was and is an extremely pleasant and competent person who handled everything efficiently. Our mid week clean was excellent. Also all the staff and provence holidays were extremely helpful and pleasant from booking to concierge. All of their recommendations were successful. We would return and we would use Provence holidays again.

A moradia é linda, especialmente o espaço exterior, fica a 30 minutos a pé de Menerbes e a 10-20 minutos de Gordes Lourmarin, etc. A localização é excelente, impecavelmente limpa, muito espaçosa, tinha todas as comodidades necessárias, uma área de piscina fabulosa. Os quartos e casas de banho são óptimos, sem ar condicionado, mas a casa foi construída para ser fresca. O pátio é ótimo e várias salas abrem-se para ele. Tenho de fazer uma menção especial à Emilie que foi a nossa gerente da casa, tivemos mau tempo inicialmente e ela atendeu sempre o telefone independentemente da questão e é uma pessoa extremamente agradável e competente que tratou de tudo de forma eficiente. A nossa limpeza a meio da semana foi excelente. Também todo o pessoal e os feriados da Provença foram extremamente prestáveis e agradáveis, desde a reserva até ao concierge. Todas as suas recomendações foram bem sucedidas. Voltaremos e utilizaremos Provence holidays novamente.

Beautiful grounds and French bastide Belos terrenos e bastide francês

We were very pleased to revisit this traditional french house with friends and our grandchildren after postponement due to covid. We believe we were the first group in so a few hitches with pool alarm and losing power during a storm. Help from the family and particularly Simon, with local knowledge, sorted these things out. This house is so charming and housed us so well, it is very spacious. The kitchen has everything you need (although some more cups would have been nice) and we cooked in quite a lot as we were such a large group. For me the highlight is the gardens, if only you could bottle the beautiful aromas that you smell as you open the shutters in the morning, jasmine, honeysuckle and mature trees, olive and lombardy poplar or cypress? providing shade and perfume. Fabulous pool, well looked after by the pool lady who visited on Tuesday. Lots of tables to chose from outside for your morning coffee. We walked into St Didier easily and some of us walked up to Venasque, its a bit of a hike up, but we had a lovely lunch in one of the village restaurants afterwards overlooking the stunning view across to the hills.

Ficámos muito satisfeitos por revisitar esta casa tradicional francesa com amigos e os nossos netos depois de adiada devido à covid. Acreditamos que fomos o primeiro grupo a entrar, portanto, alguns problemas com o alarme da piscina e a perda de energia durante uma tempestade. A ajuda da família e particularmente de Simon, com conhecimento local, resolveu essas coisas. Esta casa é tão encantadora e alojou-nos tão bem, é muito espaçosa. A cozinha tem tudo o que é necessário (embora mais alguns copos tivessem sido bons) e cozinhámos bastante, pois éramos um grupo muito grande. Para mim o ponto alto são os jardins, se ao menos se pudessem engarrafar os belos aromas que se sentem quando se abrem as persianas de manhã, jasmim, madressilva e árvores maduras, oliveiras e choupos ou ciprestes? que dão sombra e perfume. Piscina fabulosa, bem cuidada pela senhora da piscina que nos visitou à terça-feira. Muitas mesas para escolher no exterior para o seu café da manhã. Fomos a pé até St Didier e alguns de nós subimos até Venasque, é um pouco difícil de subir, mas depois almoçámos num dos restaurantes da aldeia com uma vista deslumbrante sobre as colinas.

Perfect villa for family vacation!

I am so happy to leave a glowing review for this villa! We stayed for two weeks in late May and early June with family and friends and had a wonderful time. The home is beautifully appointed with every convenience you could want, and the outdoor living and pool area were a beautiful extension of the home. We were able to take easy day trips and also cook together in the evenings. I cannot think of a single thing we did not enjoy. The Concierge service was so helpful and delivered groceries and wine that were in place when we arrived. Any questions were answered promptly by Provence Holidays and by Carine, our property manager. We made memories for a lifetime!
