La Route des Crêtes (Cassis to La Ciotat)

This coastal road between Cassis and La Ciotat is absolutely spectacular. You will find it hard to resist sticking your head out the window to take it all in, though maybe leave that to the passengers. The drive takes you along towering cliffs with breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea below. La Route des Crêtes is known for its steep, dramatic drops, where rugged rock faces plunge into deep turquoise waters. Along the way, you will come across several stunning viewpoints, but the standout is Cap Canaille, one of the highest sea cliffs in Europe. On a clear day, the horizon seems endless, blending the sea and sky into a breathtaking picture that could go on forever.

Mont Ventoux viewpoint

Nicknamed the "Giant of Provence," Mont Ventoux stands at an imposing 1912 metres, offering some of the most spectacular views in the region. As you ascend, the landscape transforms dramatically, from lush vineyards and dense forests to a striking, almost otherworldly, barren summit. If you're up for an even greater challenge, the longer route from Bedoin covers 21 kilometres and can take up to 8 hours.
