Mormoiron is a small village located in the Provence region of southeastern France. It is situated in the department of Vaucluse, in the foothills of the Mont Ventoux mountain range. The village has a population of around 1,500 people and is known for its picturesque setting, historic architecture, and natural surroundings.

Some of the notable attractions in Mormoiron include the 13th-century church of Saint-Michel, the Château de la Gabelle (a former tax collection center), and the Fontaine de Vaucluse, a natural spring that emerges from a limestone cliff. The village is also surrounded by vineyards and is known for its wine production, particularly its red wines.

Outdoor enthusiasts will appreciate the many hiking and biking trails in the area, including a popular route up Mont Ventoux. The village is also located near several natural parks and preserves, such as The Luberon Regional Nature Park and the Gorges de la Nesque.
