What we like
Style: La Maison du Jardin Secret is beautifully decorated and highlights the character of a traditional house with its enclosed courtyard, beamed ceilings, stone staircase and tiled floors.
Pool: with a counter-current pump for exercise and a Jacuzzi/massage function for relaxation, this pool is the perfect place to cool off.
Village Within Walking Distance: you are just a 2-minute walk from everything this pretty Luberon village has to offer: butchers, bakery, grocery shop and a good restaurant.
Outdoor Space: the authentic stone courtyard has total privacy with its trees, plants and swimming pool with a fountain.
Things to note
Pool Security: the swimming pool is secured by an alarm, but it is not fenced, so it is therefore unsuitable for children who do not know how to swim.
Parking: free public parking is available behind the post office, approximately a 2-minute walk from the property.
Exterior
In this beautiful green courtyard (150m2), you can enjoy the sun from the pool and the shade whilst dining under the vine-covered pergola. You can relax in the lush spaces created in the garden whilst listening to the fountain... truly an authentic provençal experience in a traditional stone courtyard.
Pool
This lovely raised 7m x 2m swimming pool is situated at the end of the courtyard and surrounded by deck chairs. With its refreshing fountain, counter-current pump for swimming and Jacuzzi/massage function, this is the perfect place to relax after a long day exploring Provence.
Interior
The soft colours, stylish touches and modern furniture give La Maison du Jardin Secret an uncluttered and peaceful feel. The original Provençal style has been highlighted by the authentic tiled floors, stone staircase and preserved beamed ceilings. On the ground floor, you will find a fully-equipped open-plan kitchen with dining area, opening onto the shaded terrace, and an airy living room which centres around a wood-burning stove. With reversible air conditioning throughout, you will find one ensuite double bedroom on the first floor and the other on the second floor.
