This recently restored 19th century mas is located just under 2kms from the charming village of Le Paradou. The pretty garden, over a hectare in size, features a profusion of lavender and olive trees and boasts views of the hilly Provencal countryside for which the les Alpilles region is justly renowned.
For those who seek the beauty and peace of the area yet want to be within easy reach of local shops and the vibrant town of St Rémy-de-Provence, this 1820 farmhouse is the perfect retreat. Once visited, it will be love at first sight.
Outside the kitchen there is a shaded terrace for outdoor dining, whilst to the front of the mas there is another large terrace. With table tennis and boules available, there is plenty for all to do at Maison Paradou.
The 15 x 6m pool has a terraced surround and a beautiful pool house with shower, basin, WC and barbecue. The swimming pool has a depth of 1.2m - 2m and is secured by an alarm. It is treated with magnesium, an environmentally friendly process known to make the water softer and therefore less irritating to the skin and eyes.
The interior of the gorgeous 19th century farmhouse has been decorated and furnished with charm and elegant style. Bare muted coloured walls, wooden beams and wonderful stone floors are mixed with eye catching splashes of colour and furnishings of the highest quality.
This authentic farmhouse sleeps up to 10 guests in 5 air-conditioned bedrooms all complete with their own private bathrooms.
