Wellbeing: with two heated swimming pools, a Jacuzzi and a yoga deck, this simply outstanding estate is ideal for those seeking a relaxing retreat in the south of France.
Personal Staff: to ensure an unforgettable stay, the following staff are at your service every day during high season and from Tuesday to Saturday during mid and low season: a private chef, a butler, a breakfast manager, a private concierge, a cleaning team, a gardener and a sports instructor.
Things to note
Pool Safety: the villa swimming pool is secured by a fence and the bastide swimming pool is secured by an alarm, but small children should be supervised when outdoors.
Televisions: aside from the luxurious home cinema in the villa, there are no televisions in Le Domaine du Côte to preserve the authenticity of this stunning 19th-century estate. If you would like a television in your bedroom, they are available upon request.
Exterior
After a relaxing swim in the main heated pool by the villa, you can stroll through the beautifully-landscaped wooded park with fabulous sea views. As you descend towards the stunning Mediterranean cove with an exclusive sports service, you can embrace the local lifestyle with a game of boules. To your right, by the bastide, you will find a delightful childrens' playhouse and an organic vegetable patch. To your left, south of the cottage, you follow a winding woodland path towards the luxurious Jacuzzi and the yoga deck.
Pool
After a long day exploring the towns and beaches of the French Riviera, you can enjoy a soothing swim in one of the estate's two heated pools: the villa's 17.4m x 3.9m pool is surrounded by a perfectly manicured garden and the bastide's 15m x 3m infinity pool can be found next to the property's large shaded terrace. Follow the scenic path towards the Mediterranean sea and you will find a luxurious Jacuzzi that is ideal for relaxing with friends or family.
Interior
A true architectural gem from the 19th century, the estate's main residence was designed and built by the Danish architect Hans-Georg Tersling, famous for his aristocratic villas in the French Riviera. After its occupation during the Second World War, this outstanding property was fully restored in the early 2000s and again in 2019 by the current owner. Now, with a new lease of life, this majestic 2000m2 villa is brimming with charm, spaciousness and tasteful decoration.
On the ground floor, there is a large reception hall, a period library, a formal dining room, a home cinema and a cosy lounge with fireplace that offers the perfect artistic atmosphere. Up the grand staircase, you will find six bedrooms on the first floor including the 90m2 Master suite with a private terrace overlooking the Mediterranean sea. On the second floor, which is fully air-conditioned for your comfort, there are five more double bedrooms all complete with ensuite bathrooms.
To the west of the main villa, the newly-constructed bastide is nestled in a secluded area of the park, near the organic vegetable garden. On the ground floor of this refined 380m2 property, you will find a large modern kitchen and a comfortable living room which open onto the shaded terrace via beautiful French doors. Three bedrooms suites are located on the ground floor and the remaining four bedroom suites can be found upstairs.
The third independent property is a charming cottage located to the east of the main villa. Spread across one level, this charming holiday rental benefits from air conditioning and refined decoration throughout. The cosy living room and well-equipped kitchen have direct access to the shaded terrace and all four bedrooms are complete with ensuite bathrooms for your comfort.
