Wonderful holiday in a beautiful house

Fantastic holiday: a truly stunning house in a beautiful location. Combination of beautiful design and practicality. Good layout of rooms to give privacy. Garden with pool particularly lovely set out with. kind of “wellness” layout which sounds fussy but was actually very usable. Village very beautiful and with a baker, deli- butcher, tabac with basic vegetables and a really super bistro/ restaurant. Surrounding villages, restaurants, markets and landscape breathtaking. 2 things. No air conditioning. Thick walls and fans kept the worst of the unusually extreme heat (summer 2022) out but aircon would have been welcome. Very unsuitable for children (I’m not sure they’re even allowed) and problematic for anyone unsteady on their legs - lots of different levels.
