Trans-en-Provence is a commune located in the Var department of the Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur region in southeastern France. The town is situated on the banks of the river Nartuby, and it is known for its historical sites, such as the ancient Roman bridge and the Chapel of St. Victor.

Trans-en-Provence is also famous for an alleged UFO sighting that occurred in 1981, which is known as the Trans-en-Provence Case. The town has a population of around 5,500 people and offers a range of outdoor activities, including hiking, cycling, and kayaking.
