A stone's throw from the Mont Ventoux, the village of Saint Pierre de Vassols is set on a small hill in the middle of an agricultural landscape.
Table grapes, cherries, olives and truffles are the specialties of St Pierre de Vassols.

What makes this village special?

The heart of the village is home to magnificent old houses which have all been restored or rehabilitated. There are also several farms, which have settled in Saint-Pierre, which is renowned for its good local products: table grapes, cherries, olives and truffles.

The interest of staying in Saint-Pierre is to be able to explore its surroundings, on foot, by bike or mountain bike for the more athletic, by car for the others. Thus, a visit to Bédoin, a small tourist village on Mont Ventoux, will delight young and old alike. The Gorges de la Nesque offer breathtaking panoramas and remain a must! Obviously, Mont Ventoux is the ideal discovery ground.

The village being quiet and small, we will take the opportunity to visit Modena, Caromb, Crillon-le-Brave and Mazan, Le Barroux and Carpentras, easily accessible.

Lovers of "organized nature" will not fail to visit an absolutely magical place: the Brantes garden, in Sorgues. This magnificent place was designed in 1959 by the Danish landscape architect Mogens Tvede, and revolves around a central axis of three mirror basins where the water of the Sorgue circulates. You can admire lawn beds with rows of boxwood and cypresses, baskets of oleanders and all kinds of flowers, including one of the largest Magnolia grandiflora in Europe, with its 5.50 meters in circumference!

The castle, built in 1700 and enlarged in 1815, has been restored by the current owners. For more than twenty years, they have collaborated with local and foreign partners to offer artistic, cultural and educational events. The estate remains a place of exchange and transmission around ecology and the link to others. A place of rare beauty.
